I want to write Grey's Anatomy fanfic. And Desperate Housewives. And Alias, though I've only seen one season.

But I never write those things because it feels like I'd be cheating on my longtime lover. Odd.

So, apparently that ctrl alt thing doesn't work on anyone's computer but my own.

The move is almost complete. I'm off friday, so I think I'll be moving the rest of my crap in tomorrow night. I painted sunday, colorwashed monday and started dragging my bedroom furniture yesterday. Everyone else has had help with painting and moving stuff in but me. I'm like the professional mover now, this is my 6th move since January 2005. That's ridiculous.

I'm incredibly tired and starting to get sick I think, and I'd like to call off tomorrow. I never get sick, so me calling off and using paid time off isn't really a big deal. But we have a really small staff - 12 people. And one is on bereavement leave, one is on jury duty and one isn't here tomorrow. Can you say 'short-staffed'?

We'll see what happens. I've had to deal with so much crap today. I can't take it anymore! But its almost 6, right?

When you are bored at work, you can come with very interesting things to pass the time. About an hour ago, I create a post on craigslist.org for a city that I do not live in, asking men to send me naughty emails.

I have 58 unread emails in my inbox.

I had a photoshoot on Wednesday. I have one (really interesting, and hopefully exceptional) scheduled tonight. I have one scheduled on Saturday after work and one Sunday morning.

Hopefully I didn't lose "it" and these all turn out great. I'm anxious to have my portfolio started.

Scoop up your children. Make them stop playing hide-and-seek in the library. This is not a fucking playground, it is a place of knowledge. If you're too fucking ignorant to realize that your three toddlers running around and screaming is bothering people, MY DEATH GLARES, and the warnings of our manager AND the security guard should have gotten your attention. I haven't written anything for a really long time. For someone who used to call herself a writer, this is not good. No original fiction, no fanfic, no drabbles or poetry. I've simply been too busy.

I have two ficathon deadlines coming up very soon, and I'm excited about turning something in. But, I haven't had the time to start writing. Hell, I don't even write in this LJ very often!

And I'm not even sure what the point of this post is.

I recently purchased my domain name again - my very first domain that was STOLEN from me and held captive for five years. I intend to create my online portfolio with it, and hopefully I'll also get back into my original writing.

Almost a year ago, I got a promotion and transferred from one division in my job ( I work in a library - rated the best library in the nation!) to another. Well, I got a promotion again!


2005 really wasn't a great year for me, but 2006 is definitely looking up!

I enjoy a good darkfic. Chaos. Blood. Death. Sexy vampires and vampire slayers. Unfortunately, I'm running out of new darkfic to read and in anticipation of Halloween, I decided to create this ficathon.
